Diced cartilage fascia (DCF) graft

\ ˈdīsed- ˈkär-tə-lij- ˈfā-sh(ē-)ə- ˈgraft \

A surgical technique in which cartilage is harvested from one part of the body (rib), prepared and wrapped in fascia, then secured into the nasal dorsum to augment and customize its shape. This technique eliminates the risk of warping that may be encountered with en bloc rib cartilage. Once healed, it will create a dorsum that looks and feels natural.
